St. Francis de Sales Sterling Silver Medal

Francis became a priest, to the dismay of his family who wanted him to carry on the family line and power. His calm and gentle way won over the family and many others. He created the Order of the Visitation with Saint Jeanne. He became a bishop and Doctor of the Church. He is patron to the deaf, confessors, teachers, journalists, and the Catholic press. Feast day January 24.
