St. Bartholomew Sterling Silver Medal

Saint Bartholomew was one of the Twelve Apostles. He was known under the name Nathanael. He is usually represented with a tanner's knife and holding his skin because he was skinned alive in Armenia. He is the patron saint of cobblers and nervous diseases. Feast day is August 24.
