St. Alice Sterling Silver Medal

Also known as Saint Aleydis, she encouraged many with her humility. At an early age she fell victim to leprosy, causing her to become paralyzed and blind. She died in the year 1250, and Pope Pius X sanctioned devotion to her in 1907. She is a patron saint of the blind and paralyzed. Feast day June 15.
