When the Church dedicates a new sanctuary building to Our Lord's Church on earth - candles are lite to show where the bishop has applied Sacred Chrism to the walls during the consecration of the new church building.

These dedication (or consecration) candle holders are simple and smaller than many styles on the market but they make a good choice for smaller sanctuaries and oratories.

Two-tone satin and high polish brass finishes. The back plate measures 1-3/4 inches wide and 6-1/2 inches tall with an arm that extends 5 inches from the wall.

Comes with 7/8 inch diamter candle socket.
