Like all the statues in this handsome collection, this elegant depiction of St. Michael stands on a gold antiqued base with a drawer. The drawer contains a scroll with the Prayer to St. Michael.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray and do thou, oh prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits that prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
