Bas relief sculpted decoration of a nesting pelican, a Christian Symbol and represents an allegory of altruism and charity, and thus represents Christ himself who shed his own blood for the benefit of mankind. The pelican image of sacrifice is termed "A pelican in her piety"., is beautifully cast on the door. Running scrolls of leaves adorn the base of dome and side panels.

The interior of the tabernacle is lined with white silk fabric and aromatic cedar.

The tabernacle measures 29 inches high, and 13 inches in diameter. The Independent action doors open to 14 inches high x 8 inches wide and come equipped with vault locks. It is topped beautiful dome with trefoil cross finial.

Removable dome is suitable for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
