This traditional St Andrew's cross orphrey chasuble is made on 100% Brugia wool fabric. Comfortable and breathable in any climate!
Available only in purple this chasuble makes a wonderful and meaningful vestment for funeral or Lenten masses.
The nesting pelican, a Christian Symbol and represents an allegory of altruism and charity, and thus represents Christ himself who shed his own blood for the benefit of mankind. The pelican image of sacrifice is termed "A pelican in her piety", and is beautifully embroidered on this chasuble with an orphrey of black and gold.
Comes with inside stole
