PRODUCT INFORMATION
11 x 14 inch Madonna of the Street (Ferruzzi) print on textured board is encased in 16 x 20 inch Museum Quality Gold Leaf Frame with linen insert.
Originally titled "Madonnina," this depiction of mother and child was created by Roberto Ferruzzi at the turn of the twentieth century in Italy. While the painting may not have been intended as religious, many regard it as a beautiful depiction of Mary and Christ.
Though the whereabouts of the original image are not currently known, Sister Angela Marie, a nun from California, and daughter of Italian immigrants Angelina and Antonio Bovo, has reason to believe her mother was the original model spotted by Ferruzzi at the age of 11. The painter's two surviving nephews agree, citing notes taken by Ferruzzi before the painting was entered in a Venetian exhibit in 1987.
Manf. Production No. PR90-1024.
