Hail Holy Queen CD

by: Dana Dana sings a collection of beautiful Marian hymns. On the title track Dana has composed a moving melody for the well-known prayer “Hail Holy Queen”.

Other new compositions include “Mother Me “; composed during a pilgrimage, “The Rosary Song”; an excerpt from the sung prayers of her Rosary recording and the evocative Celtic setting of “Croist Linn (Christ with me / Mary’s Gift)”.

There are also traditional favorites such as "My Soul Doth Magnify the Lord" and "As I Kneel", “Hail Queen of Heaven” and a stunning new rendition of “Salve Regina” capturing the essence of contemplative prayer.

One of the outstanding tracks of the CD must surely be “St Joseph’s Song” an original composition honouring the foster father of Jesus and Patron of the Universal Church. Listen as Dana sings “Chaste husband of a virgin wife, Wise guardian of the Bread of Life, Who humbly held the Son of God, Saint Joseph pray for me.
