Unlike the tyrants of old, today’s ruling class opts for democratic despotism, the soft version of totalitarianism. They are no less a threat to freedom.

The elite class and their radical allies are willing to do anything to accumulate more power and control. Despite their efforts, however, Donohue reminds Christians of how we can battle effectively “against the world rulers of this present darkness.”
