By: Father Chacon and Jim Burnham

How to Explain and Defend the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist includes and addresses: the Biblical and historical basis for the Real Presence and Church teaching on the Eucharist, answering the most common objections and questions.

The good news of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist is that we need not starve but can be filled. It is the shocking announcement that God, the Lover of our souls, is more than a vague Force. He is as concrete and specific as a kiss on the lips--or the nails through His hands and feet. It is the astonishingly good news that Love has come to touch us--physically and not just as a disembodied spirit--in the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus of Nazareth, the Word made flesh. Read this wonderful little book and see how such a wonder can be so. Share it with a friend so they can know too. Then, taste and see! --Mark P. Shea (from the Foreword)

About the Authors

Father Chacon was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest for the Diocese of Gallup, New Mexico on May 13, 1989, by Bishop Jerome Hastrich. While a newly ordained priest, Father recognized the critical need for good, basic Catholic apologetics. He and Jim Burnham decided to collaborate and produce user-friendly Catholic apologetics materials.

Jim Burnham is director of the New Mexico Roman Catholic apologetics group, San Juan Catholic Seminars. He gives seminars on defending the Catholic faith throughout the country. Jim co-authored the book, Christian Fatherhood, with Steve Wood.
