The crucifix features the Jubilee medal of the saint, one of the oldest sacramental medals in the Church, also known as the "devil-chasing medal".
Saint Benedict, Monastic Founder and Supporter of Europe, is the patron saint of monks and contemplatives, and spileologists. Declared Patron of all Europe by Pope Paul VI. Feast day is July 11.
