This stunning 24 inch tall crucifix is a careful reproduction of the Crucifix painted by Franciscan artist and monastic Cimbue, (1287-1288). While the orginal was a distemper on wood panel this reproduction has a handpainted iconic cross with a wood carved full color corpus attached which creates a beautiful and meaningful 3 dimensional devotional crucifix.
