Geert De Sutter

Geert De Sutter is Belgian, married and father of two children. 

His style of drawing in a clear line asserted itself at an early age. In his early days, he assisted Bob de Moor, a great Brussels cartoonist and Hergé's right-hand man. He then illustrated two religious comics for the Coccinelle publishing house and five other albums, published only in Dutch.

 He also gives drawing lessons and exhibits his illustrations in watercolor. It was at the Angoulême festival that he met Jean-François Kieffer, who then offered him to collaborate with him and illustrate the Old Testament for the album "The Bible for children in comics", which was published in 2019. Geert then embarked on the design and illustration of a new collection: "Seek and find Sara and Simon", the first three volumes of which evoke the life of Jesus, the saints and the Way of St. James.
