The Medal of the Immaculate Conception. Given to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830 it is unique among medals because it was designed by the Virgin herself! These are struck in many metals but for all..."Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around the neck."

"Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, That never was it known that anyone who asked for your protection or looked for your aid, or begged for your prayers was left unaided.  As we think of this, we fly unto you, O Virgin of Virgins, our Mother.

To you we go, before you we stand, filled with sorrow for our sins.

Do not turn away from us, O Mother of Jesus, but hear us and pray for us to your Son.        Amen."                   -Memorare

Our Blessed Mother's Requests to Us

Almost everyone knows or has heard of our Blessed Mother's apparition at Fatima in 1917, and most Catholics know some of the requests she made for all of us to put into practice in our daily lives. Now, the sad part is that most people have not put these important requests into practice and have stopped teaching our children what the Virgin taught us. These are the requests made to us by the Mother of our Savior

  1. Daily saying five decades of the Rosary.
  2. Wearing of the Brown Scapular, the Sign of Consecration to Mary's Immaculate Heart.
  3. Holy Communion of Reparation on the 1st Saturday's of the month, meditating for at least 15 minutes on the mysteries of the rosary.
  4. Offering of the sacrifices (large & small) of daily life for the conversion of sinners.
  5. Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Now perhaps the most important point in the whole message of Fatima (and in all the rest of Our Lady's appearances), is precisely this - making us aware of the seriousness of life and the urgent need there is for solid thinking and praying.  "The whole land," wrote the prophet Jeremiah of Old, "is made desolate, but no man lays it to heart" (Jer. 12:11). The same is true today; the world has come to such a sorry pass and lives in dread because so few really "think in their hearts!" Why do we always wait until something terrible happens and we need help before we hurry to Mary? Why?

Our Blessed Virgin Mother said 'YES' to God and so Our Lord and Savior was brought into the world to die for our sins....Can not each of us say 'yes' to her and to Him?

"O my Jesus, forgive us our sins. Save us from the fires of hell, and bring all souls to Heaven. Especially those most in need of Thy Mercy. Amen."

-Prayer given to the children from Our Lady of Fatima
