Convenient Dark Roast, Fair Trade Coffee from the Carmelite Monks of Wyoming
Others may call this type of coffee "French Roast" or "Continental Roast" but we just call it Delicious and lightly enlivening...What else would you want for after dinner, (or before the Midnight Vigil Prayer)?
Robust yet smooth, with elements of bittersweet chocolate and vanilla bean, the fair trade Midnight Vigils Blend is sure to impress the dark roast aficionado.
In a mountain valley in Wyoming, a small group of Carmelite Monks were looking for a way to support their growing community. After much discernment and prayer, the monks had the inspiration to start roasting coffee and selling the beans. The first samples were roasted on a cast-iron skillet in the monastery kitchen and in 2007, Mystic Monk Coffee was born.
