Saint Katharine Drexel was the daughter of wealthy parents. Her parents taught her and her siblings to use their wealth for the good of others. By the time of her death, she had established black Catholic schools in many states, mission centers, and the first colored college in the United States. She is a patroness against racism. Feast day is March 3.
