Saint Frances Cabrini was the first United States citizen to be canonized. She was born in Italy and moved to New York to care for poor children in hospitals, especially immigrants from Italy. She started many schools, orphanages, and hospitals. Patron of hospitals and hospital administrators. Feast day is November 13.
