The intense lemon flavor in our Simply Lemon Cookies is derived chiefly from the zest and juice of fresh lemons. The finely granulated sugar that coats the outside of each of these cookies makes them neither too tart nor too sweet. The crisp exterior of each cookie quickly gives way to a chewy center. It is difficult to eat just one of these refreshing, yet comforting, cookies.
