About the Author:

Dr. McGinnis, co-founder of the Institute for Peace and Justice with his wife Kathy, was a passionate educator and activist. In June of 2009, Jim and Kathy were named as two of the 100 Most Inspiring St. Louisans by the NAACP at the St. Louis City NAACP Centennial Celebration and Annual Freedom Fund Dinner.
